Next week we will be exploring how the Book of Kells was made including:

• Preparing the parchment for script and painting
• How the Book was bound
• The use of vellum
• Pigments and calligraphy

You will get a chance to try out some of the most well-known illustrations and calligraphy of the Book, and share them with other learners.
