The Book of Kells Creative Competition

The Book of Kells Creative Competition

We would like to encourage any aspiring artists and writers to enter the annual Book of Kells Creative Competition, especially since many of you have contributed to the Padlet earlier on in the week.
Creative people from all over the world will use their talent, passion and energy to produce works inspired by the legendary Book of Kells. Last year saw over 1,600 entries from across Ireland, the UK, US, Europe and beyond.
This year’s theme is ‘Irish Culture and The Book of Kells’. There are two competitions: Art and Writing.
Art: Create a drawing, painting or sketch inspired by Irish culture and the Book of Kells in a modern and innovative way and submit your entry for a chance to win.
Writing: Create a poem or short story inspired by Irish culture and the Book of Kells and submit your entry for a chance to win.
